Making beautiful urns is my passion and I am always looking for truely remarkable wood. This urn is made from a piece of Cherry burl. It is a very old piece. The wood has all kind of contrasts in it and unique figuring. And the warm sunny glow of Cherry is a joy as well. Every side of this urn is exciting to look at. I inlayed the natural voids with blue minerals. For the lid I used a stunning piece of bookmatched cherry. In this bookmatched piece I saw a butterfly hiding. I liberated this beautiful butterfly and it now sits proud on top of the urn. A unique piece to celebrate the life of your loved one.

The ring in the opening and the base of the lid are made of Rosewood. The urn is finished with high gloss lacquer.

All the wood I use for my work is reclaimed from near my shop. Please keep it out of direct sunlight, don’t place it near a heating source. You can clean it with a damp or dry cloth.

My urns are shipped with DHL express outside the EU. They only ship to a normal address, P.O. boxes are not allowed. DHL requires a phone number so please add your phone number to guarantee a quick delivery! DHL might use this number if you need to pay import taxes. Etsy does not collect this for you.
