Handmade Siccamore Wood Urn, Light Blue Mineral Inlay (200 c.i.)

Making beautiful urns is my passion and I am always looking for truely remarkable wood. This urn I made from pruned Siccamore. Due to the pruning the tree developed an amazing figuring with swirls and all kind of color shades, and small voids. The perfect opportunity to add more beauty to this piece. I inlayed the voids and cracks with light minerals. A unique piece to celebrate the life of your loved one.

The ring in the opening is made of Walnut wood. The lid is made of Siccamore as well.

And for some technical details:
After sanding up to 800 grid the urn is finished with high gloss lacquer. This wood is reclaimed from near my shop. Please keep it out of direct sunlight, don’t place it near a heating source and clean it with a damp or dry cloth.
