Handmade Boxelder Burl Wood Urn, Blue Mineral inlay, Butterfly lid (330 c.i.)

This urn is made of a Boxelder tree that had developed a beautiful burl figuring throughout the whole log and it shows in the finished piece. There were several voids which I inlayed with blue minerals. A truly unique piece for your loved one.

For the lid I used a piece of bookmatched Maple Burl. In this bookmatched piece I saw a butterfly hiding. I liberated this beautiful butterfly and it now sits proud on top of the urn. A unique piece to celebrate the life of your loved one.

And for some technical details: the urn is finished with high gloss lacquer. You can clean it with a damp or dry cloth. Please keep it out of direct sunlight, don’t place it near a heating source.
