Handmade Maple Burl Wood Urn, Vanadinite lid (220 c.i)

Making beautiful urns is my passion and I am always looking for truely remarkable wood. This urn is made from a rough piece of Maple burl. It has fascinating figuring all round. Every side has its own charm, like a painting from nature itself.

The voids are inlayed with orange minerals. On top of the lid I have put a piece of sparkling Vanadinite.

The result is a unique tribute to the life of your loved one.

And for some technical details:
After sanding up to 800 grid the urn is finished with clear high gloss acrylic laquer. The ring in the opening of the urn is made of waterfall Mahogany. The lid is also made of Maple burl.

This wood is reclaimed from near my shop. Please keep it out of direct sunlight, don’t place it near a heating source. You can clean it with a damp or dry cloth.
